Patient Mubarak Alneaimi started suffering from Parkinson’s Disease 3 years prior to the current admission. He had developed tremors on the right side of his body, and felt weakness over his whole body. He felt that his left leg was quite ‘heavy’ while walking. His handwriting was deteriorating.
Mubarak wanted to slow down, or reverse, the progression of his medical condition.
Medical Condition before Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for Parkinson’s Disease (PD)
Mubarak had difficulty in sleeping and often had nightmares. He felt insecure while driving and suffered from emotional upset.
Before getting Parkinson’s disease, Mubarak liked to go fishing. However, after getting Parkinson’s disease, his movements were slow and he couldn’t walk steadily, and he had to stop his fishing. Even daily tasks such as brushing his teeth became a challenge for him.
Because he tired quickly, he couldn’t exercise like before his disease.
